Visą Baltupių Radijo programą kuria ir jam vadovauja Vilniaus Baltupių progimnazijos moksleiviai, kuriems padeda ir mokytojai. Idėja įkurti tokią radijo stotį gimė 2003 m. vasarą keliems buvusiems Vilniaus Baltupių vidurinės mokyklos „Radijo Taško“ nariams. „Radijo Taškas“ buvo įkurtas 1998 m. ir pagrindinės jo funkcijos buvo: muzika pertraukų tarp pamokų metu, diskotekų rengimas, Vilniaus Baltupių vidurinės mokyklos renginių įgarsinimas. Iš pradžių radijo programa buvo transliuojama pertraukų metu Baltupių vidurinės mokyklos Agoros aikštėje, vėliau radijo transliacijos persikėlė į internetą – radijas tuo metu vadinosi „Radijo Taškas“ ir jo programą rengė „Radijo Taško“ nariai. 2005 m. rugsėjo pirmąją radijo programos kūrimas atsiskyrė nuo „Radijo Taško“ veiklos ir įsikūrė Baltupių Radijo būrelis, kuriam vadovavo dabar jau buvę mokyklos moksleiviai Aurimas Mažylis, Evaldas Kundrotas ir Rokas Kondrotas.

Bandit Rock är en radiostation som spelar rock, metal och punk. Stationen ingår i Modern Times Groups radiobolag MTG Radio. Stationen inledde sina sändningar i Stockholm den 1 november år 2004, och expanderade till att även omfatta Södertälje under februari 2005. Med start den 1 juli 2010 gjordes kanalen tillgänglig för stora delar av Östergötland och övre Norrland, som senare lades ned. Stationen sänder över ett område som omfattar ungefär 1,5 miljoner lyssnare via Stockholmssändningarna och runt 100 000 från Södertäljemasten. Av dessa lyssnar 5,5% (91 300) varje dag på stationen (enligt SIFO III/2008). Stationen är dessutom största kommersiella station i Stockholm i målgruppen män. Bandit vann kategorin Årets PLR-station vid Stora Radiopriset 2006.

Bayrak Radio was established on the 25th of December 1963 to voice the cause of the Turkish Cypriot people following its exclusion by Greek Cypriots from the 1960 Partnership Cyprus Republic.Radio Bayrak, put together with a few homemade electrical equipment started transmitting within a limited radius of 2.5 km from a small garage in the back yard of a house.On the 24th of February 1964, Radio Bayrak’s transmission could be listened to from across the whole island. BBC Asian Network is a British radio station whose target audience are people aged 15-35 of South Asian descent (Bangladeshi/Indian/Pakistani), and/or those with an interest in South Asian affairs. The music and news comes out of the main urban areas where there are significant communities with these backgrounds. The station has production centres in London (Broadcasting House) and Birmingham (The Mailbox). In mid 2017, BBC Asian Network's management was merged with that of BBC Radio 1Xtra. Head of BBC Asian Network Mark Strippel was given joint control of both stations, creating a super-network for two of the UK's largest ethnic minority groups. BBC Asian Network now broadcasts mainly in English, but has retained Sunday evening shows with language content covering regions in the Indian subcontinent: India, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, Punjab, Bengal and Gujarat. The station's output consists largely of music and talk programmes, with a daily documentary series Asian Network Reports. Despite the name, BBC Asian Network only covers the Indian subcontinent, with countries from the rest of the continent – including developed countries like China, Japan and Singapore – not catered for.

Based in the Priory Place Shopping Precinct at the heart of Coventry City Centre, its studio complex is home to radio, online services, an interactive open centre and facilities for regional TV news. It is also the only Coventry local radio station based in the city itself. BBC Coventry & Warwickshire broadcasts local programming from 6 am to 10 pm from Monday to Saturday and from 6 am to 6 pm on Sundays. It also simulcasts with other BBC Local Radio stations in the Midlands and BBC Radio 5 Live overnight. According to RAJAR, the station has a weekly audience of 64,000 listeners and a 4% share as of December 2018.

It broadcasts from its studios in both Worcester and Hereford on 104 (Worcester), 104.4 (Redditch) 104.6 (Kidderminster) and 94.7 (Hereford) FM; as well as 738 (Worcester) and 1584 (North Herefordshire) AM, Freeview 720, online plus DAB Digital Radio. Although the administrative county of Hereford and Worcester was abolished in 1998, the name of the station was not altered to reflect this. It serves the rural communities across Herefordshire as well as the more populous Worcestershire with a range of programmes from news, sport, consumer, arts, religion, gardening, jazz, funk, northern soul and local music. According to RAJAR, the station has a weekly audience of 105,000 listeners and a 7% share as of December 2018.

BBC Radio 1 is one of the BBC's two flagship radio stations (the other being BBC Radio 2), specialising in modern popular music and current chart hits throughout the day. Radio 1 provides alternative genres after 7 pm, including electronica, dance, hip hop, rock and indie. The choice of music and presenting style is entirely that of programme hosts, however those who present in the daytime have to rotate a number of songs a specific number of times (8, 13 or 15) per week. It was launched in 1967 to meet the demand for music generated by pirate radio stations, when the average age of the UK population was 27. The BBC claim that they target the 15–29 age group, and the average age of its UK audience since 2009 is 30. BBC Radio 1 started 24-hour broadcasting on 1 May 1991.
