One of South Africa’s leading regiol community radio stations, Radio Khwezi, has an electronic footprint, which now covers most of the KwaZulu/tal Midlands. Radio Khwezi now boasts two transmitters with a 10-Kilowatt sigl beamed from Greytown, on 90.5 FM and a 1-Kilowatt sigl beamed from Eshowe, on 107.7 FM.
Tygerberg 104 FM is the largest Christian community radio station in South Africa. It was established in 1993 in Tygerberg and gradually grew and became popular in this region. Due to its religious nature this radio station is quite conservative and supports traditional values.
